I am a huge fan of this series and these sexy football players and Reid's story did not disappoint! Actually, I think it was the best in the series!

I was immediately hooked when I read the epilogue and was unable to put this book down. We meet Everleigh (aka Ever) and Reid as teenagers trying to make the best out of the even their mothers dragged them to. Years later Everleigh is back in L.A. and hoping to not run into Reid, but low and behold he's right there at the gym she's working at.

I loved getting the back story of Everleigh and Reid, and watching them try to fight the feelings they had, and still have for one another. They both loved each other back when they were teenagers, but never told the other how they felt. So watching them come to terms with losing 4 years together was frustrating for both characters.

If you've read the other books in the By His Game series then you know Reid has his boy Leo, who is AMAZING, but we never really got a lot of information on his mother. Claire, Leo's mom is CRAZY and is about to get out of jail. So Everleigh coming back into the picture at the same time that Reid knows is going to be rough and he needs to be there for Leo is another twist in this book.

Everleigh also is dealing with her ex, who she caught sexting with her best friend and the reason she left NY. He's been calling and texting her non stop, and the things she says to him when she finally answers had me laughing out loud.

With Tom, and Claire back in the picture, can Reid and Everleigh really make things work? Everything seems to be going against them, but these two are just absolutely amazing together and meant for one another.

I loved the banter between these two characters, and the chemistry is HOT! I also absolutely adored Leo's character and many times in this book when things were getting rough, he would bring some light into the story.

This book is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and a ton of surprises. I was on the edge of my seat a few times in this book trying to figure a few things out, and holding my breath for the best possible outcome for these two amazing characters. I loved seeing the previous characters in the series as well and seeing how things were going with them, but I absolutely loved seeing more of Reid and Everleigh.

The By His Game Series by Emma Hart is a beautifully written series of stand alones, and I absolutely loved Intercepted. The epilogue of this book was brilliant and left me wanting more. If only we could talk Emma into writing us some more books in this series? As much as I don't want to say goodbye to Jack, Macey, Corey, Leah, Reid and Everleigh, I couldn't have asked for a better ending to all of their stories.

I highly recommend this series if you are looking for some hot football stars, girls who don't put up with their crap, and all the craziness of being famous and in love. Each book is a stand alone, and are all absolutely amazing! Definitely add Intercepted to your TBR list today and fall in love with Reid!

However I gave four stares because of the editing errors, and omg there were a lot of them. With that said. I did really like the book, it was cute an sweet all wrapped up into one hot steamy sexual encounters. Reid's smoking hot

Ever also has a job at the gym teaching aerobics. Ever has been best friends with Reid since they were two years old. Cause their mom's were friends. But age 13 ever realizes she truly love Reid. But reads 4 years older than Ever. Reid's in love with Ever his best friend, but he is waiting until she is 18 years old, then he plans to kiss Ever and tell her he's in love with her. But things don't also go as planned. Ever and Reid have a lot of obstacles that occurred over NINE YEARS later.
I recommend this book it was a good story line. A cute Happy ever after, left with no cliff hangers. I had not read book 1 or book 2 for that didn't matter. It can be read as a stand alone.
This wasn't the first Emma Hart book I have read. I like her writing style and the flow of her books. But this fell short an rushed a few places, and the miss spelled words. Let's just say the editing was awful.
I adore this book. Like seriously adore it. I love friends to lovers, and more than that I love when people have taken a long absence from each other and then find their way back to each other. I think it just makes everything so much more dramatic, and hey the only drama I like in my life comes from books.

So in this book Ever has been best friend with Reid for the vast majority of her life, in spite of the fact that she is four years younger than him. While four years might not seem like a whole lot when you are an adult, it is when you are 14 and someone else is 18. So while Ever has been in love with Reid for a long time, she doesn’t think anything will ever come of it. And Reid, well he’s been in love with Ever, but she’s too young to do anything about it so he waits. Until one day, after Ever graduates from college, literally up and leaves without so much as a word to Reid and doesn’t answer his calls or contact him for like four years. During this time Reid focuses on being a parent to his son, and Ever lives her life out of the L.A. spotlight and enjoying her freedom in NYC. Until she finds out her boyfriend is sleeping with her best friend and returns home.

I loved the interaction between Ever and Reid, even from the first moment that the two of them run into each other once she ends up back in town. There is so much sizzle between them. I loved the build up to the two of them admitted to how they feel about each other. Reid also has such a dirty mouth, and I have to admit sometimes I really don’t like that in characters, but it just works for them so well. From the minute the two of them stepped on the page together I wanted them to be together.

So much is going on in this book. Reid’s ex is getting out of jail and she is completely ready to try and ruin Reid’s life and mess up their son’s life as well. What I love about this story line is how much it shows how strong Reid and Ever are together. I love how Ever is so protective of Reid and his son, even after all the time apart. I love how strong she is for them, how much she loves them. The drama made the whole thing amped up with emotion. And Reid isn’t the only one with an ex back in town, Ever has one two, and a whole lot is going on behind the scenes with that (but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone).

I really adore the writing in this book, I really think I should be reading more Emma Hart, if this book is anything to go by. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance book, it has the perfect balance or drama, sexy time, and true emotional connection with the characters. So check it out!
